LeAnn Smoot

PA-C

LeAnn grew up in small town outside of Memphis. She attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, for her undergraduate education and obtained a degree in Medical Technology. During her time in school, she was a part of the Alpha Eta Honor Society, which is the National Honor Society of the Allied Health Professions whose members represent the top ten percent of graduates. Following her undergraduate education, she worked in a medical lab for several years where she had the opportunity to work in the diagnostic side of medicine. She eventually started to develop an interest in learning more about the patient side of health care. With that, she decided to continue her education and become a Physician Assistant. LeAnn attended Christian Brothers University in Memphis and graduated as a Physician Assistant. Following the completion of her Masters degree, she worked in the ER as an emergency PA and then for a local Neurology group before she came over to be a physician assistant at Conrad Pearson. LeAnn is dedicated to providing patient-focused care and prides herself on being a good listener. She enjoys working urology because of the diversity of conditions that she sees. She also likes that there are so many treatment options available to help urological conditions improve. She also feels the Conrad Pearson Clinic has been a great place to work because the entire group works together as a team. Outside of work, when she is not busy enjoying life with her two young daughters, LeAnn likes to read and spend time with her extended family in the local area.
