Shari Ronell, MSN, AGACNP-BC, brings more than 30 years of nursing experience and a deeply personal commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered urologic care.
A Memphis native, Shari grew up in East Memphis and graduated from Kingsbury High School before attending St. Joseph School of Nursing. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse in 1994 and joined The Conrad Pearson Clinic in 2000, where she worked alongside Dr. Adams for sixteen years.
After leaving the clinic in 2016, Shari continued building her clinical experience while advancing her education. She worked in the GI lab at Methodist Hospital in Germantown and simultaneously earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. She later managed an ambulatory GI surgery center before relocating to Little Rock, where she joined Arkansas Urology in 2020. Shari went on to pursue her nurse practitioner education at Chamberlain University, completing her NP degree in 2024. Her subsequent experience included caring for patients in cardiology, electrophysiology, cancer care and urology.
Returning to Memphis — and to The Conrad Pearson Clinic — has been especially meaningful to Shari. She values the clinic’s collaborative environment and the opportunity to work with a team of physicians and healthcare professionals who share a commitment to excellent patient care.
Shari also has a personal connection to the field of urology. With a family history of kidney stones and prostate cancer, she understands how urologic conditions can affect patients and their loved ones. That perspective helps her approach each patient with empathy, understanding and respect. She cares for patients with a variety of urologic conditions, including urinary tract infections, incontinence, kidney stones, elevated PSA, scrotal conditions, hypogonadism, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer.
For Shari, becoming a nurse practitioner was a natural next step in a lifelong commitment to helping others. Patient and family education is an important part of her approach to care, and she strives to make sure patients understand their condition and feel informed and supported throughout their treatment.
Shari is an active member of professional nursing and urology organizations and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
Outside of work, Shari enjoys staying active, hiking, biking and spending time outdoors. She especially loves walking her two rescue Shelties, Rex and Roxie, and spending time with her husband. She is also active in her church and enjoys participating in church activities.
